Time tracking

Monitor productivity, report on effort and keep projects on schedule.

Time worked can be tracked in HINDSITE in two ways:

  • Against individual work instructions or

  • the entire work order

NOTE: Currently, time can only be added or edited via the HINDSITE mobile app. Tracked time can be viewed on the relevant work order in the HINDSITE web platform.

NOTE: Work order managers and Administrators can add and delete hours for users they manage via the HINDSITE mobile app.


Track time against a work instruction

Open the work order and tap on the title of the work instruction you want to track time for.

Tap the Time tracking button that slides up from the bottom of your screen. Click Add time and then choose the date you want to assign the hours to. Enter the time in hours (e.g 2.25 hours) and tap Add time to save your entry.

To add time to a different work instruction, click on its title and repeat this process or, select the work instruction from the dropdown menu in the Add time.


Track time against a work order

Open the work order you want to track time for. Tap the three dots in the top right corner of your screen and select Time tracking.

Click the Add time button, choose the date enter the time in hours, and tap Add time to save.


View tracked time on a work order

Tracked time is visible on the work order in the HINDSITE web platform.

In a work order you can view time logged against each work instruction as well as the total time for the work order.
