Work order templates let you pre-configure repeatable tasks, so starting new work orders is faster and more consistent across your team.

Creating a new template

To create a new work order template, go to Templates on the Work orders page.

Click on Create work order template, enter a title and choose the location/s it should belong to.

Select the work instructions you want to include in the template. These work instructions will be automatically added to every work order started from this template.

Note: You can always add more work instructions to a work order as its being executed.


Editing an existing template

To update an existing work order template, click on Templates on the Work orders page. Click Edit next to the template you want to modify.

From here you can change the title, assign it to different locations or update the included work instructions.
